Curio Theatre Company

Entering its eighth year! Curio's Summer Theatre Camp offers two, 2-week sessions. Each camp includes basic acting, improvisation, dance, playwriting, singing, and an introduction to costumes and props. The camp is divided into age appropriate groups with each group working on a short play to be performed on the last day of camp.

Ages 7-17. 9:30am to 3:00pm Weekdays,
Cost per camp is Cost per Camp is $425, but only $395 if you register before April 15th
(A registration fee of 50.00 is required to hold your place in camp.)

Session 1 July 2-July 13
Session 2 July 16- July 27

Camps run Mondays through Fridays from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Early drop off is available from 8:30am. Extended Day offered until 5:30pm for a fee.

Final SHOWCASE for all camps will take place on the Curio stage located in the Theatre for family, friends, and the general public.

The teachers in my daughter's school tell her, whenever she gets up to talk, or give a presentation, "well, you look like you're comfortable talking in public, and do a very good job presenting your material". That's because of Curio Summer Camp! The children learn how to write, costume, and perform a skit in 2 weeks! And no one ever drops their lines!! Unbelievable. The teaching is so good in every aspect of theatre, the kids come away with very important life skills, like talking in public, and/or in front of others. And the confidence level in social settings is noticeable also.
