Waiting for Godot

by Samuel Beckett

Dan Hodge, company member and director of Curio's 2016 Barrymore recommended production of
Death of a Salesman,  returns to direct the absurdist classic, Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett.

Meet Vladimir and Estragon on a country road as they await the coming of Godot. How long they wait, who else they meet, and if Godot shall ever arrive, is the matter of much banter, antics and reverie.
Considered one of the most significant plays of the 20th century, Samuel Beckett’s tragicomic masterpiece is funny, poignant, soulful and hilarious.

Featuring:
Brian McCann, Paul Kuhn
Robert DaPonte and Harry Slack

Set Design- Paul Kuhn
Lighting Design- Tim Martin
Sound Design- Kyle Yackoski

THE MASSIVE TRAGEDY OF MADAME BOVARY
by Peepolykus
A North American Premiere!
Directed by John Bellomo

Patrons may remember Curio's hilarious 2013 production of The Hound of the Baskervilles, adapted by Peepolykus (pronounced people-like-us), the UK's most exciting touring theatre company. We now bring you their next adaptation, The Massive Tragedy of Madame Bovary. This tale of a 19th Century marriage  in the north of France tells us about passions dashed and refueled. The bright and tragic life of a doctor’s wife, Emma Bovary, is hilariously derailed by our ensemble in this loving adaptation of Gustave Flaubert’s classic novel. Curio’s comic ensemble presents this recent hit from Britain’s Peeoplykus for the first time in North America.

Featuring:
Andrew Blasenak, Chase Byrd,
Aetna Gallagher and Doug Greene.
