We have merged two separate fundraisers. The Mary Allegra Spotlight Fund and our Education Fundraiser!
We wanted to develop the Spotlight Fund as a way to honor Mary and fundraise for things that we really needed each year. Through this fund the community has helped us to put HVAC in our black box and our classrooms!
Now this fundraiser puts the Spotlight on Education.
As many of you know, two of Mary’s many passions were kids and education. So, if you gave to the Spotlight Fund because you love and miss Mary as much as we do or you gave to the educational fund because you believe in our mission to never turn a child away for financial reasons, then this fundraiser is for you.
Our two dearest educational programs are summer camp, where we get many requests for scholarships, and our award winning FREE CuriosiTeens program.
Mary loved both programs and her incredible grandchildren, Michael (Mike, Mikey) and Claire have attended our programs. Michael was one of our original Curiositeens and last summer he taught at our camp which he attended for most of his childhood.
